When you use Tink’s Magical Vacations to plan any of your Disney Destination vacations, you will always get exceptional customer service from your travel planner. What you may not know is that at TInk’s all of our agents work together as a team. As they say in High School Musical “We’re all in this together”. Tink’s creates an atmosphere where all of our agents are comfortable lending a hand to each other when the time arises. There may be a time when your agent is not available, either taking care of a sick child or family member, on a cruise with no wifi service or just unavailable on a certain day. This is when our team comes together and helps each other out. Tink’s agents are in constant communication, sharing their ideas and personal experiences. We are constantly learning and growing here at the agency. A large group of agents flew to Orlando a few months ago to get some personalized training. If you have an instagram account you can look up the hashtag #tinkstraining2019 and follow along with all of our amazing pictures, videos and see all the fun things we did. This was a great opportunity to meet the agents behind their facebook profile pic. Even though we speak all the time, a lot of the agents had never met in person. We were at training for four days. Every morning we would get together for breakfast and we would have a few senior agents do training, using slideshows and apps for your phone. This gave our newer agents the opportunity to ask questions and even share their own ideas. During our training, we were able to view resorts at Universal Studios and at Walt Disney World®. Our agents participated in a scavenger hunt in Universal and they had a blast! We also were able to do the Backstage Magic Tour by Adventures by Disney®. This was the first time for most of our agents. Doing these types of activities, grows a bigger bond between each other. This trip gave us the opportunity to get to know each other. Whether it was sharing laughs at a dinner or sitting by the Seven Seas Lagoon watching the Electrical Water Pageant, we were all together sharing, talking, bonding and seeing that “We’re All In This Together” This is what sets Tink’s aside from the rest. When booking your next Disney vacation, have confidence that you will be receiving above and beyond concierge level service from our team of agents. “Whatever we accomplish, belongs to our entire group, a tribute to our combined effort” ~Walt Disney By Tink's Vacation Planner, Eddie. This past week I had the opportunity to partake at the first ever Disney Villains After Hours event inside Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World® Resort.. In the past I have only done one after hours event -- it was Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. With that experience under my belt I had some sort of an idea of what to expect at this new event, but at the same time I was still very excited to go. It was a VILLAINS event after all! Disney is all about "good" fun, but there is something about our “Bad Guys/Girls” from Disney that just really captured a piece of me. I believe that our celebrated villains prove that Disney can be a little dark and still be cool. by Tink's Vacation Planner, Cathy. Minutes from the activity of the parks awaits a serene escape where attention to detail is second to none, the Four Seasons Resort! Want to experience dining with a view? Head to Capa. Who wouldn’t enjoy a gourmet family friendly meal, glass of wine and views of 3 different Disney parks fireworks? Feeling a little Goofy? Head to Ravello where you can experience a Good Morning character breakfast Thursday and Sundays (& select Tuesdays). You won’t feel rushed while enjoying ultimate access to characters. Many favorite Disney friends visit tables while guests enjoy an omelet, charcuterie, fresh baked goods and more! By Tink's Vacation Planner, Kristen. I recently had the opportunity to experience a Disney World Specialty Fireworks Cruise with some co-workers. I have seen the Happily Ever After Fireworks show from various locations in and around the Magic Kingdom but viewing the show from the boat was SPECTACULAR! We were picked up at the Wilderness Lodge an hour prior to the Magic Kingdom Fireworks and cruised around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Our private pontoon boat Captain shared some Disney memories and Disney trivia during the 40 minute tour of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake before the fireworks started. Each boat is outfitted with snacks, sweet goodies, as well as a cooler with water and soda. We passed several boats that were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and we were told that Disney will decorate your boat for your own special occasion, included in the price. By Tink's Vacation Planner, Michele. Did you know that there are over twenty Disney owned resort hotels on Walt Disney property, ranging from Value resorts to Deluxe resort hotels? In the fall of 2019, a brand new resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, will be opening in the Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studio’s area of Walt Disney World®. This brand new, standalone, Deluxe Villa resort will have a European inspired feel, with all the touches of Disney. By: Baylie
If you were looking to see Disney World through a child’s eyes this is the article for you. In case you were wondering, I am a student in elementary school. I am in the 5th grade and my teacher already works for Tink’s. Her first name is Pollyanna but I call her Mrs. Buff. This article is about my favorite attractions at the Walt Disney World® Resort. I love them all so much so they are in no particular order except for my most favorite which is Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This ride is in Hollywood Studios. This ride features a big DROP! If you love a super- thrilling ride. If you are someone who is big on roller coasters this is the ride for you. By Tink's Vacation Planner, Shannon. On your next Walt Disney World® Resort vacation, if you happen to be staying (or dropping by) the Coronado Springs Resort, you will notice some big changes! The biggest change of all is a brand-new Tower called the Grand Destino. First and foremost, “YES” the Grand Destino Tower is affiliated with Coronado Springs Resort! The Grand Destine Tower will feature a lobby that will host check in for families staying in the Grand Destino Tower, as well as for the Coronado Springs Resort. Once checked in, guests staying at the Coronado Springs Resort will have a tunnel goes to the old lobby where multiple eateries, gift shop and the convention check in area are located.. By Tink's Vacation Planner, Missy. I love the Wilderness Lodge! I have stayed there more than any other Disney property. I have seen all the changes throughout the years and I have also seen how it has also stayed the same. This past week I had the opportunity to stay there without my kids. The same man has greeted people walking in the resort for twenty years! When you walk in the front door it gives me such a great feeling. It is massive and rustic inside with so much detail. This trip I was able to stay in a 2-bedroom villa and a bunk bed room as well. The 2-bedroom villas have just been remodeled and they look amazing! The bunk bed room is great for a family of four - especially for the kids that don't want to share a bed. By Tink's Planner, Pollyanna. It’s Always a Good Time to Celebrate with Disney Whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or graduation my family and I have enjoyed many celebrations at Walt Disney World®. If you want to feel celebrated and special, then Walt Disney World® is the place to be. When booking any Disney vacation be sure to let your Tink’s agent know what celebrations you may have. Disney will help you make memories for all occasions. I have seen baby announcements, engagements, honeymoons, adoptions, and even some buttons that share that guests are celebrating beating cancer. By Tink's Planner, Kristen. Through monsoons of rain, a group of my friends and I decided that we were going to attempt the four parks in one day challenge at Walt Disney World.® I want to thank my hardcore birthday crew who lasted fifteen straight hours to check this challenge off my bucket list! We also managed to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Epcot® at the end of our evening. We had tons of fun rising to the challenge, even in the drippy weather. by Tink's Planner, Pollyanna. With summer weather right around the corner in Florida, it’s about time to think about how to make the most of your Walt Disney World® vacation. Let’s face it, Florida weather can be unpredictable. You can, however, usually count on warm days and afternoon rain during the summer. Being prepared for your Disney vacation is a must! If you are planning a summer trip there are a few items you must pack before you leave for the park. Most summer days are hot and humid. By Tink's Planner, Shannon. Are you looking for an exquisite dining experience inside the Walt Disney World® Resort? Look no further then Victoria & Alberts, located inside The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Victoria & Alberts is one of the Walt Disney World® Resort's Signature Dining restaurants and is also a AAA Five Diamond Recipient since 2000. There are three different dining options available: 1. The Dining Room (with just one seating each evening). 2. Queen Victoria’s Room (accommodates just eight guests) 3. Chef’s Table. I spent my evening at the Chefs Table in the heart of the restaurant's kitchen. It was an unforgettable experience as we got to watch our food being prepared while we interacted with the Chef. Our Tour Guide greeted us promptly and all attendees were given a headset to hear the narration. The tour begins with an extremely rare scene – Main Street U.S.A with no people on it. The Magic Behind the Steam Trains Tour allows you plenty of rare picture-taking opportunities and a chance to go backstage. Our guide gave us the full background on Walt Disney’s love of steam trains and the process by which steam trains became integral parts of both the Disneyland® Resort in California and the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida. While backstage, we took a short bus ride to the roundhouse, where the trains are serviced. Ongoing construction at The Magic Kingdom, which includes the creation of the TRON roller coaster, means the train system is not operational. Therefore, we were unable to take the usual train ride back to the roundhouse. However, we were able to climb aboard a steam engine at the roundhouse because it was completely cooled. After leaving the roundhouse, we returned to the now-bustling Main Street Station and heard an additional talk about Walt Disney’s personal train in his backyard and how he came to dearly love trains. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered every question she faced. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has an interest in steam trains, Walt Disney’s life story, or just to see the work that goes into making the magic we all enjoy. Currently, this three-hour tour costs $54 per person and there is walking involved. Reservations are required. This tour does not run on Fridays or Saturdays. If you are interested in any special tours, don't hesitate to ask your Tink's Planner for more information. Written by Jennifer C. I recently vacationed at the Walt Disney World® Resort with my family over Christmas break and we had the most magical time! My family and I were also celebrating my parents' wedding anniversary of 25 years, which is a milestone not to go unnoticed. I spent some time before our trip thinking of ways to honor their anniversary and take them by total surprise--that’s when I found: Cinderella’s Chocolate Slipper dessert!! This delectable dessert is available at select restaurants/resorts around Walt Disney World for purchase: Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and at Cinderella’s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom park. In true Disney fashion, they go above and beyond to make sure they are sensitive to all allergy needs. Quick Service/Snack Dining The My Disney Experience app has the order ahead option for the quick service restaurants. This is an option for all diners, but they recently added their allergy free food on the app. Ordering ahead with an allergy has never been easier! When you order from the allergy menu at the counter many times they will give you a pager. You will go sit and when your pager alerts you, you return to pick up your food. This is convenient because your food is specialty prepared and usually takes longer to insure it is safe for you to eat. When you order at the counter the cast member will stamp your receipt with a red allergy notification. This allows all servers who touch your food to be aware of your allergy. Another reassurance that your food is allergy free is that the counter service meals will be given to you on a different colored tray. All of these precautions are in place to keep your food protected from cross contamination. Snack options are easily accessible. Check for labels and brands. If you are ever unclear, ask a cast member. You will certainly not go hungry at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Table Service Dining When you make table service reservations be sure to note that you have an allergy. Your waiter will ask you about this when you are seated. In most cases the chef will come out to speak with you to ensure that what you’re ordering is something you can safely eat. In many cases the chef can make specific food to suit your allergy. Buffets can make guests with allergies nervous for good reasons. If you are interested in dining at a Disney buffet feel comfortable knowing that the chef will take good care of you. Be sure your waiter knows about your allergies and then request to speak with the chef. You will be told what is safe to eat on the buffet and in many cases brought out a specially made plate. If you have allergies and tend to not eat out, Disney is a good place to start. Cast members take allergies seriously and know how important it is to your health. Enjoying your Walt Disney World vacation is your top priority and your Tink’s Magical Vacation travel planner can help you get started with all of your dining needs. Bon Appetit from Tink's! |
Our vacation planners their children and yes, even some of our Tink’s clients, have written about their experiences in the Neverland Blog. The magic of Disney comes alive in an immediate way when our children visit the Land of Mickey and Minnie.
